Just a little recap of the pursuit earlier, around 1 AM, Nottoway Sheriff’s Office initiated a pursuit with a vehicle that’s registered owner was wanted out of Lunenburg County, the subject fled on SR 460 in the wrong lane then through Crewe and into Burkeville, the subject then bailed on foot at James River Equipment towards Plum street and the Church of Latter-day Saints, law enforcement then lost visual of the subject before shots were fired. It is unknown if law enforcement or the subject shot first or what agency fired, last update on the suspect was that officers were preforming CPR. No other details known as of 3:39 AM.

**UPDATE*** Suspect has bailed out at James River Equipment and is currently running on foot towards Plum street in Burkeville.

**PURSUIT** Nottoway Law Enforcment currently in pursuit of subject wanted out of Lunenburg County, suspect is currently driving in the wrong lane on 460.

6:00 PM | Male shot in the arm on Spainville RD, Nottoway Sheriff’s office has requested Blackstone PD for mutual aid aswell as state police. Fire & EMS is also enroute.

1:24 AM | ANOTHER UPDATE: Pursuit still on SR 460 now re-entering Nottoway County. Vehicle returns to a black female out of Lynchburg, VA yet officers describe seeing a black male with dreadlocks driving.

1:17 AM | UPDATE: Pursuit has now re-entered Prince Edward County after briefly entering another county. Multiple agencies are now involved, Nottoway SO is still the primary agency in this pursuit. Pursuit is still on SR 460.

12:56 AM | Nottoway Sheriff’s office in pursuit of unknown vehicle. Speeds are currently at 120 MPH, subject has just crossed into Prince Edward County via SR 460 West.

4:44 AM | Blackstone Police currently on scene of a flipped motor vehicle. Fire & EMS have just been dispatched.

ANOTHER UPDATE 11:04 AM | It seems as if units are now clearing the scene without anyone in custody due to not having corpus delicti.

UPDATE 10:34 AM | Subject has ran inside the Crewe Village Apartment Complex and possibly locked himself inside apartment #45. Nottoway Sheriff’s Office and Crewe Police are currently establishing s parameter around the apartment complex.
