Nobody knows the pain of a Minnesota Vikings fan! But maybe the Clippers fans are about to get a taste. A taste that never goes away, the taste of disappointment.

Someone posted something about resellers basically brought AF1’s back from extinction. Resellers didn’t bring back the Air Force 1 — that’s just not correct. The AF1 has never left. It was a staple in hoops, in the streets, and in hip‑hop long before resale culture even existed. I had AF1s a couple years before the Jordan 1 even dropped. It wasn’t until the Jordan 2 until I could afford a pair of J’s. Despite a small dip in the 90’s it still remained relevant. The people made the AF1 legendary — the players, the artists, the neighborhoods, the kids who wore them every day. Resellers came later and polluted sneaker culture into a price tag. AF1s are iconic because we built that legacy, not the hype machine.

They keep arguing about red on the tongue like that’s the issue, when the real problem is that they’ll never see a true OG colorway again. Color reacts differently on real leather than it does on the synthetic stuff Nike uses now. That’s why the OGs looked alive — the tones breathed with the material. Today’s pairs? They’re plastic copies of history.

If Nike actually cared about preserving culture, they’d stop recycling our colorways for hypebeast resellers to tax real collectors. OG colorways should stay where they belong — on the OG pairs that built this movement. Stop taking what you didn’t create. Sneaker culture wasn’t born from resale; it was born from passion, wear, and storytelling. Follow From Kicks 2 Kush for the truth.
