If you’ve ever been treated like a criminal for buying kicks at Savers C**n Rapids, you already know who this is.

She’s not checking shoes—she’s checking you.
If you’re under 55, rocking anything with style, or just trying to thrift in peace, she’ll sidle up behind you like a retail ninja and hit you with the “policy” excuse.
But it’s not policy—it’s targeted petty behavior.

I’ve been shopping there since day one. No issues. Until she started creeping.
Thursday, I called her out.

Fifteen years. It seems like yesterday and a lifetime all at once. Still her husband, still my wife. Marrying her was the best thing I've ever done—proof that love conquers all. She was my ride-or-die long before the brand, before the bins, before anyone knew the name MN Shoe Guy. She saw the potential in me when I was still chaos, when the blueprint was nothing more than scribbles and fierce hope. Together, we've built a life that is perfectly imperfect, messy and beautiful in all its reality. She is my calm in the storm, my fire when I need it most, the one who reminds me who I am when the world forgets. We've spent 15 years building, breaking, and rebuilding, navigating late nights, chasing loud dreams, and leaning on quiet grace. She has been there for every single pivot, every purge, and every win that felt like a loss. I owe her everything, and I will spend the rest of my life making sure she knows it. Savers C**n Rapids
GOOD SHOES. BAD ATTITUDES.

If you’re under 55 and step into Savers C**n Rapids expecting to score a thrift steal and dip out clean—nah. You’re walking into a retail sim where style, sneakers, and youth automatically make you suspicious.

The main character in this drama? A red-haired store ninja whose dye job is so intense it could stop traffic. She doesn’t greet you. She doesn’t blink. She just materializes behind you mid-checkout, squinting at your kicks like you’re running a black-market Sharpie ring.

She claims it’s “policy” to check every shoe. That’s cap. I’ve rung up Jordans, Air Maxes, and beaters without a single hassle—bag, bounce, done. But when she’s working? Suddenly I’m starring in Law & Order: Sneaker Unit.

To test it, I had my mom—full senior status—ring up a pair. No shoe check. No red-haired apparition. Just a smooth transaction like it’s 1998.

Thursday, I’d had enough. I called her out: if it’s policy, it should apply to everyone. I even pointed out that I’d just watched her let a senior slide without a glance. Her move? Call the manager, who skipped “listening” and went straight to “barking orders.” She talked over me, so I raised my voice to be heard. Result? 86’d. Banned. For daring to ask why I’m the only one getting the thrift store TSA treatment.

And here’s the kicker—walking to my car, still heated, a well-dressed gentleman drives up to me and says, “About time someone said something to her. She does it to me too.” Boom. Validation. I’m not the only one catching this nonsense.

It’s not racism. It’s not ageism. It’s just whatever flavor of petty this woman serves up with her discount shoes and passive aggression. And now I know there’s a whole underground network of stylish, falsely accused Savers shoppers out there.

Savers C**n Rapids — Come for the deals, stay for the surveillance. Unless you’re under 55 and wearing anything cooler than orthopedic loafers—then maybe thrift in disguise.
