It’s time to meet the team ✨

Ellie has been working on the Content by Carm team for almost a year and a half now, and she has been an absolute blessing! She’s been taking care of so much on the backend but has recently moved into an Account Manager role!

Ellie also has her own business - where she provides beautiful wedding content creation! I would HIGHLY recommend checking it out!

The best part is that Ellie and I met through friends and now she is a friend 🤎

Earlier this week, I was able to get on a Zoom call with my former mentee student from Bethel University and the marketing team she’s now interning with.

They are looking at expanding their marketing services to their financial advisors to include social media, so we talked through my process and what I’m seeing that’s working.

Along with a few other things, this is the piece I’m seeing over and over again that’s actually working on social media. People want to feel like they’re connecting with a real person, not Chat GPT.

Yes, there are helpful tools and resources with AI but it can’t replace the human connection.

Life at Content by Carm lately has been BUSY! As I’m working and preparing for maternity leave coming up in the new year (how is it already October??), my days have been full, but I am truly so grateful for this season and that this is my job!

To give you a look at what I’ve been up to lately, here’s a glimpse into my week 👇🏼

- 4 monthly client meetings (with more last week!)
- 2 new inquiry calls
- Social media consulting call
- Training session with my team member
- Meeting with my former mentee’s marketing team

There are still days when I wake up and think, “Is this really my job?” It’s SO fun! Thanking Jesus for the opportunity to do this work and truly love it!

Happy 4th of July weekend 🇺🇸

Finishing up my to do list this afternoon and then signing off for a nice long weekend ✌🏼

On a practical note, I’ve been making two to do lists each day - one for work and one for personal tasks I need to get done. This has been so helpful for me to get through everything and not forget the little things! If you’re needing a little more structure, feel free to steal the idea for yourself!
