𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒔 𝒂 𝑾𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉
Opening Night of the Piston Cup from Granite City Motor Park battled Mother Nature only to be thwarted by curfew. The Iron Man's quest for career win 1000 was thwarted by stiff competition and an infield tractor tire.

Before ordinances cut the fun short, the track battled through a persistent rain shower which cause a significant delay to get as much of the show in as possible completed.

Dave Mass claimed the night's first feature in the Late Models following a spirited battle with Shane Sabraski and Jeff Provinzino, which saw Sabraski exit early with a flat right rear.

Jim Gullikson claimed another Street Stock feature after holding off a very game Tommy Pogones.

Blake Adams drove away from the field to claim the Midwest Mod feature.

High drama was abound as Dylan Kromschroeder claimed the Super Stock night cap. Shane Sabraski was on the hunt to end the night on a high note and quickly moved to 2nd, hounding the 9 until with two-to-go Sabraski clipped an infriled tractor tire trying to find away around ending the night with a DNF.

Night ✌️ of the Piston Cup kicks off tomorrow, with make up features beforehand. The Iron Man will have 4 more chances to claim career win 1000! Be in attendance for a historic moment tomorrow, and admission is only $10 👀👀!!!

At last check there are 129 cars in the pits across Wissota Mods, MWM, Streeters, Mod 4s, Hornets, and Super Stocks. We've also got Late Models and Crown Vic on the card.

There is a new player in the regional late model scene. The current HMT footprint covers Kansas and Missouri, I'd expect much of the same here. A nice boost for this region following the exit of the MLRA.

GRAIN VALLEY, MISSOURI (September 18, 2025) - Heartland Promotions, the powerhouse behind the wildly successful Heartland Modified Tour presented by Real Racing Wheels, KEVKO Northern Lights Modified Series presented by Real Racing Wheels and the American Racer Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports, is kicking things into overdrive with the launch of the all-new Heartland Late Model Tour set to debut in 2026.

Building on the format and tremendous support of the Heartland Modified Tour, the new Heartland Late Model Tour will feature the same dynamic ownership team, a familiar event structure, and an unwavering commitment to delivering a premium, racing experience for fans, drivers, promoters, and partners alike.

The Heartland Late Model Tour is designed with racers in mind. A fantastic night of celebration, pageantry, and fierce racing capped 🏆 Night of the Wissota 💯 from I-94 emr Speedway! The Parade of Champions, 3-wide starts, a meticulously prepped and racy track, GGIGANTIC 50/50, and a banger Modified night cap all highlighted this Crown Jewel. When it was all said and done, these are the Champs!

The way this event has grown, even just in the last year, is astounding! If you're in Wissota country and haven't been, do yourself a favor and get here next year! On the way to the track, I couldn't shake how amazing it would be to see the backstretch stands (last pic) full. While it didn't happen this year, we're not far off. Hopefully next year, with your help!

Hog wild 🐖! Ryan Gierke put on an absolute show, pounding the cushion and slicing and dicing through traffic, to claim his first ever Wissota 💯 Modified 🏆! The Iron Man capped off a solid Saturday with the 2nd-place finish, Dusty Bitzan moved forward 9 spots to claim the final podium spot.

He is... Iron Man! Shane Sabraski battled Curt Myers for much of the race before powering around the outside to claim another Wissota 💯 Super Stock title, and career win 998. Dexton Koch used a last lap restart to power to the runner-up finish, with Alex Myers following suit to claim the final podium position.
