But we sure did have FUN.. And at our age that’s what matters most !!
••• It hasn’tt always been like this .. In our 20-30’s we rushed around like chickens with our hands gone.. But every time we’d take 15-20minutes just to SLOW-DOWN and enjoy the moment .. We started finding our way back to one another ..

Fast Forward till today.. It’s the lil moments like this that keep us young at heart .. ❤️

🔥🙏 PLEASE LISTEN… For YEARS I thought I was broken, damaged, NEVER gonna amount to anything due to my ANXIETIES..
Dr’s Ignored my cries, and doped me up on XANAX for 12yrs.. Which DID THE OPPOSITE & increased my ANXIETIES.. ONLY TO THEN BE GIVEN MANIC DEPRESSION MEDS due to the COLDTURKEY XANAX STOP..

ADHD isn’t BAD… You simply THINK THINGS AT 4-7x the average rate..

Wow, 2025 has been a wild ride so far here in Kentucky! How's the weather where you are?

Lately, I've had to dig deep to shake off the funk. One thing that works for me is getting ready, even if I'm not going anywhere!! My soul is craving warm sunshine, so I'm pulling out the self-tanner to give myself a sun-kissed glow. ☀️

On another note, I've realized that after 40, beauty routines need a refresh… Or at least mine sure does ..

Here are five things I've learned: You can't skip skin prep, a good BB cream or tinted moisturizer with sunscreen is essential, less is more when it comes to makeup, skip the pressed powder and opt for a setting spray instead, and neutral n**e lip shades are the way to go.

😉 When it comes to doing my Makeup..

#1- You’ll Never See Me Choose a MATTE Foundation ever again ! I loved it in my 20’s-30’s.. Or i thought I did😆
Ive now learned Matte settles into my Lines causing me to look washed out.. INSTEAD I love a Tinted Moisturizer as my 1st Step.. It blurs, minimizes without looking FLAT..

#2- You’ll Never See Me “Set My Face in Powder”… NO MATTER WHAT MISS GELLAR SAYS… She looks amazing ,,, but me? Oh lordy!
Setting my entire face causes me to look OLDER..
INSTEAD,, I’ll set with a dry brush and Spray.. Stays put & keeps my skin looking fresher ..

#3- You’ll Never See Me “Use a SuperLite Concealer Under my Eyes”…
Instead of drawing unneeded attention ,,, I’ll color correct with a Pinkish Concealer.. This brightens up my complexion and remember less is more as we age..

PLEASE REMEMBER ,,,, THERE’S zero rules in MAKEUP… Just things that make you feel better about yourself ..

She’s NEVER been one to allow her “AGE” define her💗 She grew up near the KY/VA border and raised by a Strong, Confident Mother who believed We Can Do Anything We set our minds to as long as God’s hand on it.. She’s where I get my heart and S***K..

Over the years we’ve grown close.. Shes never judged me.. Only taught me that everything we endure has taught us how to Be Better..

She’s one of the kindest, most caring humans I’ve ever met.. She’s always taught me to Listen to my HEART for guidance..
