We are deeply saddened to share that Caitlyn Colter, a counselor serving Arbor Park Elementary and Otte Blair Middle School, was killed this weekend in a car accident. Her younger brother also lost his life in the accident.

Caitlyn joined Blair Community Schools this year and was already making a meaningful impact with students and staff. She will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who knew her. Counseling support is available for students and staff who may need it.

We ask our community to respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.
