We are proud to announce that Mrs. Jenn Kaufman, Blanchard High School’s outstanding Band Director, has been named the Blanchard Public Schools 2025 District Teacher of the Year! 🏆🎶

Mrs. Kaufman’s passion for music, dedication to her students, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on our school and community. She is set to begin her 20th year here at Blanchard Public School. Before that time, she was the band director at Maysville Public Schools for three years.

Whether she’s leading the Pride of Blanchard on the field or inspiring young musicians in the classroom, her influence is felt far and wide. This morning, she was also honored—alongside several other educators—with the Perfect Attendance Award, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her students and their success.

With the new school year starting this week, we'd like to introduce you to our first Class of 2026 Senior. On this meet Caly Miller! A lifelong Blanchard Lion, Caly has been active in honors courses, NHS, Student Council, Leadership, as manager for the Lady Lions volleyball team plus playing on the soccer team’s inaugural season. She’s passionate about serving others through the Beacon Youth Group and after graduation hopes to study psychology to help children who’ve experienced trauma. Guided by Isaiah 60:22, Caly is ready to embrace the next chapter with faith, determination, and a heart for making a difference.
We know Caly will achieve great success and continue to inspire others with her dedication, compassion, and drive!
