*BREAKING NEWS*

For 11 years I’ve been longing to see this letter. Today, I have officially received notice that my student loans have been PAID IN FULL!! I sat on it for years thinking this would never happen. Apprehensive about paying on my loans because my thought was “what’s the use?”. Until 2020 Lynnette Smyer and I decided we were going to eliminate this monster lol. When word went out that interest would not be attached to student loans, and everything you pay will go towards the principal, we knew it was time to get started. So we sacrificed, closed our eyes, and gritted our teeth as we paid it down. When it came to the last payment we both looked at each other and asked the question “are you ready?”. This is HUGE for us. We made the decision, stayed the coarse even when we did not feel like it, and got this joker up outta here! S/O to . Your song is playing in my head right now! “ I PAID SALLIE MAE BACK!!” ✌🏾
