Foods that can Fix your Child's Coughing Faster.

One thing I've learned over time, especially when it comes to my children having colds and catarrh, is to explore every home remedy I can think of before going for medication, which most of the time resolves the issue.

Cough syrups and antibiotics don't work on these things, and you know how disturbing it can be when children can't sleep because of a stuffed nose or continuous cough at night.

Before loading them with medication, try these foods and remedies, which are the best medicine:

1. Pap water + grated ginger + honey + dates (for kids above 1 year). I can't even emphasize enough about the benefits of pap water. Stop throwing it away.

2. Lime + ginger + honey

3. Warm chicken broth or soup + garlic and other herbs

4. Homemade pineapple juice

5. Onion + garlic + ginger + honey( l have shared this recipe before)

6. For a running nose, nasal saline drops are super effective for all ages. And for little ones under 6 months, breastfeeding is a game-changer! Always consult your doctor before giving any medication, though.
