We’ve just blocked AI-training crawlers across all SNO sites using our Cloudflare name servers, and the results are already noticeable. Server load has dropped by roughly 20–30%, which means faster, more stable websites. This move also protects your content from being scraped for model training while giving your site a performance boost.

🚨 QUICK UPDATE: Cloudflare Outage

We know many SNO sites are down due to a major Cloudflare outage.

Cloudflare has issued a fix that is now propagating across the internet. Service may be spotty as the patch rolls out, but full resolution is expected soon.

We are monitoring this closely and will update you when we have confirmation. Thanks for your patience!

If you'll be at the National High School Journalism Convention next week in Nashville, and we hope you’ll stop by the SNO Sites booth ( #329) and visit us!

The SNO Patrol will be fully staffed and ready at our booth during the trade show (1–7 p.m. Thursday; 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday). Whether you’re curious about the Reuters Photojournalism partnership, want to learn more about the Site Booster add-on, or just want a quick critique of your site, we’re here for it.

To make sure we have time for everyone, we’re offering free, 15-minute appointments with a SNO expert. Think of it as a mini training session—just in person. (Be sure you're viewing times in Central Time.)

Spots are limited, and we do expect to be busy, so we highly recommend you reserve a time in advance if you can. That way, we’ll be ready and waiting with your site pulled up and notes in hand.
