My condolences. If you haven't read her graphic novel, I highly recommend it because it is still relevant today.

Iranian-French cartoonist and filmmaker was perhaps most well-known for the graphic memoir, and subsequent film, about her life during the Iranian revolution in 1979.

Looking for a shorter book? Enjoy the true crime genre? I recently read The Burger Chef Murders in Indiana by Julie Young for the Naughty Dog Books Murder Mystery Book Club. Unfortunately I can't make it to the book club meeting tonight, but this was an interesting read worth mentioning.

We have the oldest written constitution still in force in the world, and it starts with three words, 'We, the people'." - Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 2nd Woman to be named to the U.S. Supreme Court

This evening I was one of "We, the people" who did my civic duty and used my voice to speak up at a local government meeting. Of course I had to dress for the occasion, and what better way to do that than with a nod to The Notorious RBG? (I found this re-issued Banana Republic "Notorious Necklace" on eBay for an amazing price, so if there are any other Notorious Girlies looking for one I'd check there!)

Steve Volan, aka "Tall Steve" on WFHB also spoke, and I can confirm that his public comment was met with a resounding approval from those of us in the gallery!
