Since March 2020, RainBubble Productions was involved with Digital Ren Faire, helping elevate video content and graphics and serving as members of the board with the goals of connecting renaissance faire entertainers to audiences while faires were shut down.

We had the opportunity to work with performers and vendors from across the country, and the pleasure of helping a community that had been upended. Every week we had new songs stuck in our heads or laughed at new jokes while editing self-taped performer footage from folks who had never before ventured into video or online content.

We are proud to have worked with this group. We are enlightened by the experience.

As of the end of September, we have stepped away from our roles as editors and board members for Digital Ren Faire. We wish the remaining members well. We wish the wider community well. We wish everyone safe and prosperous as they move forward.

We are always open to engaging with the performers and friends we have met and worked with during our time with DRF. If you loved what we did with your footage and are looking for video content, reach out! We were infinitely impressed with your work and your trust in us over the past year and a half. Don’t be strangers!

Special thanks to our fearless leader and producer from our time on the board, Olivia Harding, who was the oft-unseen motor keeping everything in the organization going and the head of social media while we participated. Your faith in us and cool head through every new challenge was constantly inspiring. And to Angyl Jones whose tireless work to keep the DRF Patreon patrons taken care of ensured the team could continue making the show. As the two of you are also moving on, know that we also wish you every success in your next adventures.

And for performers and patrons, keep on enjoying Digital Ren Faire as it moves forward-- We hear the next RenTalks is premiering Thursday, October 21st!-- and keep hanging out with us over here at RainBubble, too. Thank you all!

Now it's just a waiting game for the new one to be built and ship - If you've built a desktop recently, you'll know it can take a while these days.
