No juice to run the transmitter....dead in the water. City tells me it won't be long before the power is back on. Sure is quiet around here.

Power is back on (whew). Back to the music we grew up with except.... our stream audio. No audio....sompin ain't right. We'll jump on tomorrow.

⭐️⭐️Winter Storm Update⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good evening, everyone.

Out of an abundance of caution and for your safety, the Apalachicola River Bridge on State Road 20 is considered closed until further notice. Electronic sign boards on both sides of the river will notify you of the closure.

The best thing we can all do as responsible citizens is to stay home and stay off the roadways! The bridge is iced over, and if you become stranded, emergency responders may not be able to reach you, leading to a dangerous situation.

We will keep you updated as best we can. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We hope you and your family enjoy the snow—have fun, but please stay safe. Avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.

Dear community, we are opening a warming center at the Chipola Baptist Association building starting tonight Monday thru Thursday 5pm-7am. If you know of anyone who needs to stay in a warm place/heated room during the night, they can check in at 5pm starting today and check out not later than 7am the next morning to continue with our daily operations here at the ministry center.
Due to the limited space, we can only accommodate 15 individuals a night ( all ages). When you come to check in please enter through the food pantry gate and go to the back of the association.

Reminder- please bring your own pillows and blankets.
Please note- NO pets allowed. Thank you.
