Mountain Progressive Review

Mountain Progressive Review A community-led progressive publication in the San Bernardino Mountains. It is a platform for factual and detailed coverage of local concerns and world events.

Mountain Progressive Review is a publication based in the San Bernardino mountains that is by the community, for the community. MPR gives voice to viewpoints from all over our hills. We believe that the marginalized among us deserve as much attention and respect as anyone else. We believe in equal rights and representation for all. We believe that there is just as much strength to be found in cele

brating our beautiful differences as there is in recognizing what we all have in common, and we want our paper to do both. We want the honor of printing the words that will take root in this mountain and grow the change we need to see in our communities.

Our first Ramen & Anime night with Spade & Spatula- Ca. Gastropub exceeded our expectations! Together, we raised over $200 for our local Save Our Forest Association! So many folks came out to watch Princess Mononoke and eat delicious noodles with us, and we can’t begin to convey how grateful we are for the patience, understanding, and enthusiasm we received as we put forward this first event! Our most fervent apologies to those we had to turn away—we’re going to make sure we have pre-sales set up ahead of the next one! Thank you so much to Bev Eskew and the rest of the Spade & Spatula crew, our volunteers, and especially those who came out to support on a Wednesday night! Here’s to many more successful events in the future. 🎥🍜
