As PEAKS enters an exciting new chapter, we’re taking a moment to recognize Bill Furtwengler for the important role he played in helping lay the groundwork for PEAKS at UNG Blue Ridge.

Bill’s leadership, dedication, and belief in lifelong learning helped build the strong foundation we’re growing from today.

PEAKS is now expanding to Dahlonega, while our Blue Ridge community continues to flourish. As we move from our founding board structure to a new PEAKS Ambassador model, we are excited to welcome even more members across our community into the work of connecting, learning, and belonging.

Bill, thank you for helping us get here, and for being part of the PEAKS story from the beginning.

Learning is always in season at Evergreen Learning’s PEAKS Program!

Today, we welcomed Joy Bolt and Tim Daniels from UNG Libraries for a fantastic presentation on the Apple Watch! Participants learned how to use their watches to support health and wellness, explore helpful features, and get more out of the technology right on their wrists.
