Reflecting on a Wonderful Spring Season with PEAKS 🌸
As we wrap up another incredible spring season of PEAKS, we can’t help but look back with appreciation for all the meaningful learning, connection, and exploration we experienced together.
This semester brought an exciting variety of sessions that sparked curiosity and inspired conversation. From Life Along the Toccoa River, where we explored the beauty and impact of our local environment, to An Insider’s Look at the Inner Workings of Professional Baseball, which gave us a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a beloved sport, there was truly something for everyone.
We discovered the magic of honey, learning more about bees and their vital role in our world, and gained valuable knowledge through Cyber Safety for Seniors, helping us stay informed and protected in today’s digital age. Sessions like How Callings Shape Who We Are encouraged reflection and personal growth, while organizations like The Craddock Center highlighted the importance of community and service.
Practical topics such as Estate Planning Made Simple offered helpful guidance for planning ahead, and cultural experiences like John C. Campbell Folk School introduced us to rich traditions of craftsmanship and creativity. Of course, we also made time for fun and movement with Pickleball, and embraced curiosity and discovery in A New Era of Exploration.
Each session added something special to this season, made even better by the engagement and enthusiasm of our PEAKS participants.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this spring—we loved learning alongside you and look forward to another great season ahead!
