We're not done with the wintry weather this week! This is a *first call* snow map for tomorrow night into Thursday night and could change over the next few days.

A frontal system moving in from the west will change rain to snow as we head into Wednesday evening. For most of us, this doesn't look to be as impactful than what we saw on Monday, but those western slopes could end up getting a lot more out of this event thanks to upslope snow. Because of this, 3-5 inches is a good estimate for most of those spots, but higher totals can't be ruled out along the higher elevations.

1-3 inches of snow will be possible along our ridgeline as far south as Bland County, though confidence in higher totals is lower the farther south you go. If you're east of the mountains, a trace to one inch is about all you'll get.

More snow is likely as we head into Friday. Meteorologist Katherine Thompson will refine the forecast and have the latest coming up tonight!
