Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a day of unimaginable fear and heartbreak. But in the middle of that darkness, we also saw incredible courage, compassion, and people helping one another.

Today, we remember that God is still our refuge. He is present in our hardest moments, and sometimes He allows us to be His hands and feet for someone who desperately needs help.

You may never know how much strength your kindness gives someone else. So today, be a refuge. Be an encouragement. Be the person who helps someone else find a little light in a difficult moment.

God is our refuge and strength, and He is still with us.

Have you ever wondered if you’re really enough? Enough for the calling God has placed on your life? Enough to be loved, used, and accepted by Him?

The beautiful truth is this: God chose you.

Jeremiah 1:5- Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

God didn’t choose you because you had everything figured out. He didn’t choose you because you were perfect. He chose you because He loves you.

And being chosen by God doesn’t mean life will always be easy.
It means that whatever you face, you don't face it alone. His hand is on your life, and His purpose for you is greater than your past, your failures, or the things that make you feel inadequate.

So today, remember this: You are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are chosen.

Walk into today with confidence, not because you have all the answers, but because you know the One who does.

There are times in life when we feel like we have to carry everything ourselves. The responsibilities, the worries, the problems, the people we love, we try to hold it all together and convince ourselves that we can handle it.

But the truth is, we were never meant to carry it all on our own.

Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you.”

God never asked us to be strong enough for everything life will bring. He asks us to trust Him with the things that are too heavy for us.

Sometimes we think asking God for help is a sign of weakness. But it’s actually an act of faith. When we say, “God, I can’t do this on my own. I need You,” we’re acknowledging that His strength is greater than ours.

Maybe today you’re carrying something that has become too heavy, a difficult situation, a decision you don't know how to make, or a burden you’ve been quietly carrying for a long time.

Give it to God.

You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to figure everything out today. You just need to take the next step and trust that God will give you the strength for it.

Because when your strength runs out, His doesn't.

One of the best things you can do is let go of your need to please people. It's important to find time to help others and serve those around you, but it's important to not fall into the trap of "PEOPLE PLEASING." Instead of living to please others, live your life to please God. This is when you will truly begin to find rest for your soul. Trying to please people all the time can be exhausting! Let go of the unrealistic expectations of man and choose to live each day for God. At the end of the day, His approval is really the only one that matters.
