Twelve years ago this wine was harvested in Puglia. Today we’re pouring it by the glass in Savannah.
The 2013 Cosimo Taurino Salice Salentino Riserva is one of the most dynamic Italian reds I’ve ever tasted, slightly reduced red fruit, earthiness reminds me of hiking in canyons of Big Sur, its texture is of fine linen.
This is what a new dawn at Sobremesa looks like, this is the beginning of what is to be.
Older wines. Better stories. More access.
