Enjoy your retirement

After more than seven years of loyal service, K-9 Gaviao retired today.

He was a Bomb & Arson dog, sniffing out explosives and ensuring safety at special events, bomb threats, and other incidents in Kansas City.

In retirement, Gaviao will continue to live with his partner.

Thank you for your service ❤️

Today, we celebrate the remarkable life of K9 Brek, whose unexpected passing leaves an unfillable void in our hearts. 🐾❤️

This incredible pup inspired us with his presence at numerous events over the years. Born in the Czech Republic, Brek was bred from a lineage of working K9s and brought to the U.S. by U.S. Custom & Border Protection to become a detection expert, trained in illegal fi****ms and currency detection at Dulles International Airport.

May his legacy continue to uplift and motivate us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who loved him, and we take comfort in the memories of his remarkable spirit. 🙏

Fantastic work, K9 Riggs! 🤩❤️💙

🚨🐾 Hero on Duty! 🐾🚨

K9 Officer Riggs of the Colorado Springs Police Department showed incredible bravery in helping apprehend an armed car theft suspect last Thursday. Despite repeated warnings, the suspect attempted to flee, but Riggs swiftly stepped in, disarming the suspect and ensuring the safety of everyone in the area.

Thanks to Riggs and the CSPD team, a stolen handgun, methamphetamine, and a stolen vehicle were recovered, and the suspect is now in custody.

👏 Let’s give a big round of applause to K9 Riggs for his heroic actions! 🐕💙
