If you put in the work and stay consistent, you will reap the rewards.
I’m not saying this to sound like every motivational post out there or to get a bunch of likes — I’m saying it because I’ve lived it.
This is my second year full-time in real estate, and I’ve truly worked hard for everything that’s happened. I’ve worked weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights. I’ve answered calls during family gatherings, and yes — I’ve cried to my family, best friends, and boyfriend more times than I can count wondering if this industry was even for me.
There was a time I picked up a 25–30 hour-a-week job that required travel, and I quickly realized it distracted me from my true purpose: real estate.
When I first started, I was delivering food for DoorDash and managing a dance company — with no social life, constantly stressing about money. I couldn’t afford to go out, even a $10 sandwich with a friend gave me anxiety because I didn’t know when my next closing would come in. I’ve even had my account go negative more than once.
But I stayed the course.
Now, I’m beyond grateful to all the buyers and sellers who have trusted me as their Realtor. Out of 43,000 agents in our local board, I’m humbled that so many chose me. I just landed my highest listing yet and completed seven transactions with the same investor this year — something I once believed was impossible for me.
What I’ve learned is simple:
✨ Be yourself.
✨ Be honest, humble, grateful, and authentic.
✨ You will make mistakes — just don’t repeat them.
Almost every single one of my clients this year has been an investor — and the year isn’t even over yet! 🙏
I’ve gone the extra mile: attending networking events, hosting open houses (mine and others’), placing 200–300 door hangers, calling my database, writing handwritten notes, sending thoughtful gifts, and staying active on social media.
There were countless moments when I wanted to give up… but every single time, something in my heart told me to hold on a little longer.
That something was God.
I’m so thankful, blessed, and excited for what’s still to come. ❤️
