Lake Worth, FL — June 15
While much of the country celebrated Father’s Day, a powerful remembrance took place in South Florida.

The Vietnamese American community gathered at John Prince Park to honor the heroes of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces—veterans who fought for freedom, lost their homeland, but never lost their voice.

The event was led by Michelle Le-Chen, whose father served in the South Vietnamese military. Veterans including Tra T. Nguyen and Peter Lai Than stood with the next generation, joined by community advocates like Helen (Ha) Phuong and dozens of families from across the region.

They came not just to remember—but to remind us: freedom is never free.

Share this post to honor their sacrifice. Help keep their stories alive.

Headline NEWS!
President Donald Trump said Saturday that the U.S. military struck three sites in Iran, directly joining Israel ’s effort to decapitate the country’s nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran’s threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict.

The decision to directly involve the U.S. comes after more than a week of strikes by Israel on Iran that have moved to systematically eradicate the country’s air defenses and offensive missile capabilities, while damaging its nuclear enrichment facilities. But U.S. and Israeli officials have said that American stealth bombers and a 30,000-lb. bunker buster bomb they alone can carry offered the best chance of destroying heavily-fortified sites connected to the Iranian nuclear program buried deep underground. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the U.S. military conducted airstrikes targeting three strategic sites in Iran, marking a significant escalation in the United States’ involvement in a coordinated effort with Israel to undermine Iran’s nuclear ambitions. This bold action aims to weaken a longstanding adversary amid mounting concerns that Iran may retaliate, potentially igniting a broader regional conflict.

The decision to directly engage militarily comes on the heels of over a week’s worth of Israeli strikes designed to systematically dismantle Iran’s air defense systems and reduce its offensive missile capabilities. These operations have also inflicted damage on critical infrastructure related to Iran's nuclear enrichment program.

American and Israeli intelligence officials have noted that the deployment of U.S. stealth bombers, specifically equipped with the powerful 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs capable of penetrating deep underground facilities, presents the most effective strategy for targeting these heavily fortified sites associated with Iran's nuclear endeavors. As tensions escalate, the potential for widespread repercussions in the region increases, drawing concerns from multiple global stakeholders about the implications of such military interventions.
