As a writer, I enjoy the use of symbols. To me, the Pomegranate Margarita in TSITP represents Bella’s moving from girl to woman. My painting shows Bella facing another figure on her pathway forward - Is it Jeremiah or Conrad?!? My daughter (she’s 25 years old) and I watch the show and discuss. As an artist, I wanted to highlight Bella’s journey forward. Pomegranate Margaritas anyone?

Commissioned piece “AUDACITY” is what I’m working on today. The client asked me to enhance this print on canvas. By doing so, the piece becomes uniquely one of one. Also, she saw the larger version and asked for a smaller size to fit her office - which I can do with many of my pieces. This piece was shown three times previously. The locations and new owner’s name will be part of the provenance history as well as a Certificate of Authenticity. It’s always exciting to finish a piece and deliver it to a happy client.
