🌟Spotlight on Local Author🌟

Cheryl Janer is a Boca Raton author whose writing focuses on memory, resilience, identity, belonging, and the experiences that shape us. Her memoir, She has lived in Boca Raton for 20 years and works a paraprofessional at Omni Middle School.

The Fire Within, shares her story of growing up deaf and Jewish, finding her voice, and learning to turn struggle into strength. She is also the author of Still Camp Sick, a collection of stories about sleepaway camp, friendship, tradition, and the kind of place that stays with people long after summer ends.
