You know I love Garfield 🧡🖤 This is one of my favorites from my collection. It's a Garfield Letter Pack with 12 sheets of paper and 6 envelopes.
Back in the 80s stationary was a must have for so many of us.
I had a pen pal from England when I was in the 8th grade. Our teacher arranged it all for us in our Reading class. I chose a boy from England because I had a huge crush on Davy Jones and I figured since he was from there maybeeee the boy might look like Davy...or even know him. 😂Long story short, he sent a picture and didn't look anything like Davy Jones. Oh and guess what? He didn't know Davy either. So that was my last communication with the young chap. 😂

It was 1989 and I was in Jr High and got my pink and black Caboodle for my birthday. I was so happy. You would have thought that I won the lottery. I kept everything in there...scrunchies, lip gloss, notes, pictures, song lyrics, etc.
The next year I got the smaller Caboodle that held my jewelry.
I didn't get much when I was a kid because my parents struggled financially, but what I did get was so very special.
*My original pink and black Caboodle was lost after college and I found this one in brand new condition. The teal green one is my original from when I was a kid.

Happy Friday Morning!!! I had a hard time getting up this morning for my workout but I'm glad to say that I did it! I'm back in my routine and it has been going great.
The family was sick these past two weeks and I've been fighting to rebuke their illness from my body 🙏😂
The last picture is of the famous Thigh Master from the beautiful Suzanne Somers. She had thighs that were to 💀 for. The Thigh Master was released in 1991 and Suzanne catapulted it into fame. It was one of the "As Seen on TV" products and let me tell you...those products had us in a chokehold. 😂

In memory of the great Joan Rivers who passed away on September 4, 2014. I got to see her in NYC in June of 2009 I believe at the Gramercy Theater. We waited for her after the show to take some pics. The crowd dwindled down because she took a bit to come out. But I got to take a couple of pics with her. You can see in the second pic…that woman kept getting in our way so Joan said I could take as many photos as I wanted. She was very sweet. She’s was one of the greatest comedians and talk show hosts from my youth. There will never be another like her.

She is the sweetest baby. Life with a Weimaraner means you must have a lot of patience and be able to snuggle with a beast most of your day.
They are referred to
as 'Velcro Dogs' because they must be attached to you at all times. Luckily, when my hubby and the kids get home they take over so I can get a break. 😂

On August 31, 1997 Princess Diana passed away. She was involved in a car accident in Paris that involved paparazzi aggressively pursuing her and her boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed.
News coverage of the incident ran for weeks over every television station. Magazine covers of Princess Diana filled the magazine racks. Elton John replaced the words of his song 'Candle in the Wind' from Goodbye Norma Jean" to "Goodbye England's Rose."
She was only 36 years old when she passed away and had done so much for society...the world absolutely loved her. 🌹

Thanks to my Pookie Bear, my cousin Joey for the coolest earrings. It’s awesome to have him in my life.
I’m the youngest cousin of about 45ish in my family. By the time I was born half of my cousins were already married. So I hung out with my cousin’s kids when I was growing up.
There was a group of 5 of us who hung out and we were all 1-2 years apart. Of course the 4 of them were boys and I was the girl in the group…which taught me to be super tough because we always had epic wrestling battles. WWF was life back in the day.
My cousin Joey wasn’t in that original group because he was way younger but we connected when we became adults. The thing we have in common is that growing up he was referred to as Baby Joey, because his dad is a Joey too…and I was Baby Carmen because my mom is also named Carmen. And now he’s my Pookie. 💕

Good Morning! It's Fri-Yaaaay!!!🥳 I've got my favorite Tshirt and favorite Garfield coffee mug ready to start the day.
Lots to do today...editing, writing, and possibly filming. We'll see. We've also got Friday Night Lights this evening. I'm from Texas so high school football is a big deal. My baby is in the HS band so I've got to root her on and wear my button with a big ol picture of her. 🤗
Oh and if you like my Garfield mug check out my friend Stevie
He's got it and tons of other cool stuff.
What are your plans for the weekend?
