Watched Masters of the Universe. If you've ever loved He-Man when you were a kid you've got to watch it. This movie was definitely made for grown ups. There was an awesome cameo that GenX will love.
I loved looking over at the hubby during the movie because it was like watching the kid version of him. It made my heart so happy.

1983 The Michael Jackson Electronic Microphone was one of my favorite gifts ever. I sang my heart out with this bad boy. I got it taken away for singing too loud but I had so much fun while I had it. 😂

Last week, I was so frustrated about the scale weight but I'm feeling better this week. It's like a roller coaster ride with my emotions. 😂 I'm stronger at age 50 than I was at age 30 so I'll just keep on keeping on.
I did decide to do something different and not use the YouTube videos for my strength training. I was getting injured too often because there wasn't enough rest in between and I was rushing through and not performing the proper technique. So I chose 6 exercises for lower body day, 6 for upper body, and 6 for full body. I started that last week and didn't have any injuries. 🤗
I'd love to hear what you do for strength training. 💪

1990 it's summer at Totally Rad Video store and melted vhs tapes are a big problem.
Nikki and Jimmy have heard some wild excuses for ruined or lost tapes but this one takes the cake!

Did you grow up watching He-Man and The Masters of the Universe? I was a She-Ra Girl. My brother used to call me She-Ra to try and get me mad. It didn’t work at first so then he started calling me She-racks. That got my blood boiling. I have no idea why it made me so mad? Probably because he would snap his fingers super fast like Pinky Tuscadero and then pop me on the head when he said it. I stopped watching the cartoon after that. Anywhoooo…Did you know that He-Man was not a Saturday Morning Cartoon? If someone claims it was then they weren’t around in the 80s. Thanks to my friends and for the fun fact knowledge.
I found this book on record this weekend and had to add it to my collection. I used to love stories on records back in the day. Fun times.

Super vulnerable post here...I've been on track in my fitness and it has been very difficult for me lately. When I first started this journey a few years ago, I could not touch my knee to the ground and I'm easily able to do that now. I can do so much I wasn't able to do before. I know I'm getting stronger and I know I'm healthier, but there is still that part of me that gets upset because I'm having a difficult time getting the weight off. And I know I'm 50 years old and my metabolism has slowed down and I have surgical menopause, but that still bothers me.
It bothers me because I work really hard. I workout, I track my food, I get good sleep...I do the things I'm supposed to and it's still difficult.
I didn't want to post some pictures because of the ways my stomach looked when I lunged, or because of the thighs having some dimples on them. But I decided to because there might be someone else struggling like I am...and I just want you to know that you are not alone.
I'm gonna keep trying and getting stronger and healthier. And maybe just maybe the weight will stop being a complete A-hole and decide to come off.

Early 2000s...Go Spurs Go! I found this button today at a vintage shop.
Cingular briefly held a spot in the telephone industry in the early 2000s ...I had my cell phone through them back when we got charged per text and we waited to talk on the phone after 9pm.
