Update** date changed** to 2 September.

We’re doing it again — Production Club Meetup at Boerne Content Studio.

Last time we had a solid mix of writers, producers, gaffers, shooters, and other production people come through. We talked shop, exchanged info, found out what everybody’s working on, and kicked around some ideas for future projects.

Nothing formal. No weird networking stuff. Just production people hanging out, meeting other production people.

To try something different this time I might also do a little Q&A and share some of my own career path — how I went from dude with a camera to owning a studio, what I learned along the way, and answer any questions you guys have about production, business, clients, or whatever else comes up.

If you work in the industry — or you just want to meet more people who do — come hang out.

Free to attend.
7–10 PM

Put it on your calendar and come meet some people.

We’re hiring a Podcast guest booker.

New show launching soon — we need someone who can get the right guests placed. That means dealing with gatekeepers, managers, and PR agencies, and knowing how to get to a yes.

If you’ve got experience in the music industry, events, or reality TV, this is for you.

Comment BOOKER and I’ll send you a link to a 5-question form. Reviewing responses next week and setting up interviews.

Studio shoots are awesome (we love air conditioning), but we also do location shoots.

For the last 7 years we have created TV commercials, internet ads, documentaries, and YouTube content outside of the studio.

If you have an objective, we can create content for it.

Likewise, if you need to plus up crew on your own production, we can fit right in there too.

Got a rough idea for a script? Something you want to be funnier? That’s the part we’re good at.

If it’s an ad, we start with the offer and write toward what you’re actually trying to sell.

We took a 19-person documentary interview and cut it into one story you’d actually sit through.

Story, offer, objective. That’s what drives the creative choices. And I think we’re pretty good at it.

Locations are everything.

We’re local to the Hill Country and we know people. Need a cowboy town? I’ve got 3 in mind already.

Warehouse. Semi truck. Race car. Helicopter.

Finding this stuff is half the job, and we’re good at it.

I posted about needing a bald eagle once. Found 2.

We love a project with a good budget.

But sometimes you already have half the team in place.

Maybe you need a sound guy. Maybe a DP. Maybe a gaffer with 1-ton Sprinter full of lights, support, plus a couple generators.

We can run your whole production, pre-pro through final delivery. Or we can just fill the gap in your kit and crew. We love working with other productions. It’s how we’ve built our own network.

Our studio in Boerne is where people record two podcast episodes in an afternoon and never touch a timeline again.

Three cameras already set up. Lights already on. Someone else running audio. You sit down, talk, and go home.

About a week later the whole thing shows up in your inbox — edited episodes, the audio version, vertical clips for social, thumbnails, show notes. If you want, we’ll run the YouTube channel and post the clips to your accounts too.

That’s it. That’s the pitch. Most shows die around episode six because the host is stuck editing at 11pm on a Tuesday. Nobody’s ever quit because talking was too hard.

Saw an idea on Instagram, recreated it in the studio in one afternoon. This is what we can do.

The studio is way more than canvas and paper backdrops. It’s basically a lighting lab. I love grabbing ideas I see floating around Instagram or in the artist world, then messing with different lighting setups, throwing my friends in the middle of it, and seeing what we can come up with.

And it works for pretty much any kind of shoot. Got a new bathing suit line? A product, some jewelry, a clothing brand? We can shoot clean magazine-style images, or go full experimental and artsy like this. Honestly the only limits are how big the imagination is, how big the budget is, and what we can fit in the frame.

So if you’ve got something you want to bring to life, or you just want photos that go way past the usual paper-backdrop look, hit us up. I’d love to hear what you’re thinking.

Boerne’s New Creative Space was the home of the last Boerne Chamber Of Commerce happy hour. Always fun to see new businesses! Shop local!

Too many businesses spend a ton on content, organic social, and ads… then lose the lead the second sales picks up the phone.
That’s the whole point of the content… and this rant.

Good content can drive attention. (And convert traffic)
But if your sales process, follow-up, or funnel is weak, you’re leaking opportunities and you may blame the content…

This is exactly the kind of stuff I help audit — sales funnel, marketing funnel, follow-up process, or the whole system soup to nuts.

If leads are coming in but conversions feel off, let’s take a look. It may not be your videos.

Fake podcast clips are such an easy way to make a lot of content that feels natural, polished, and actually gets watched.

It’s a great format if you want content you can use for organic social and for ads without making it feel too salesy. We set it up like a podcast, ask you a few questions, and turn your answers into clips that look clean, casual, and super usable.

If you’ve got a business, app, startup, or offer you want to promote, this is a solid way to make a lot of content fast.

Hit me up at Boerne Content Studio and let’s film something.

Everyone’s got a story sitting somewhere — the reason they started, the thing they’re building, the moment that changed everything. Most never get told well.

That’s the part we care about.

Right now we’re filming interviews on one of our sets for a documentary about the Battle of Najaf — a fight that unfolded inside Wadi-us-Salaam, the largest cemetery in the world, months before the invasion of Fallujah.

A multi-camera interview is where it starts. Then come the layers. The B-roll, the quiet moments, the imagery that make it a film instead of a talking head. Founder origin stories. Brand messages. The unhurried conversation where someone finally says the thing out loud.

If you’ve got something worth capturing, we’d love to hear about it.

Two cameras are the standard for interviews — but why stop there? I’m throwing up a third to break the fourth wall, giving you a full look at the lights, the stands, the whole setup. And just for kicks, I’m also dropping a camera down low to the ground for that cinematic low-angle shot. Done it before in documentary work and it looks sick — so we’re bringing it back.
This one’s for a exclusive documentary on the Battle of Najaf. Let’s get it
