Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love what we do. We officially welcomed two more incredible couples to the Chelbe Scianna Weddings + Events family!

This October, Liz will be leading her very first wedding as Lead Coordinator—such an exciting milestone that she’s more than ready for. Then next April, we’ll be back at The Coke Plant Wedding and Event Venue for another beautiful celebration!

We never take moments like this for granted. Every inquiry, every referral, and every couple who chooses to trust us with one of the biggest days of their lives means the world to us.

Lately, I’ve caught myself noticing little reminders of God’s faithfulness.

Not because everything is perfect.

Not because every prayer has been answered the way I imagined.

But because He’s been gently reminding me that He’s present in the ordinary.

I’m busy..and I love being busy. It’s just part of who I am. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t days that feel overwhelming. I’m always dreaming bigger and wondering how I can grow, improve, and serve people better.

But lately I’ve realized something…

Gratitude doesn’t begin when we finally “arrive.” It begins when we recognize God’s goodness exactly where we are.

I’m thankful for the little moments that remind me His timing has never failed me.

He makes no mistakes.

And today, I’m simply grateful to be exactly where He has me. 🤍

Most people don’t know this, but Liz and I are actually cousins. Our moms are sisters but truthfully, we’ve always been more like sisters ourselves.

When people see my name or my face attached to this business, it’s easy to assume I’m doing it all. The reality is… I’m not.

This girl is one of the biggest reasons our weddings run the way they do.

She notices the things I don’t. She asks the questions I haven’t thought to ask. She keeps us moving, solves problems before they become problems, and somehow manages to stay calm in the middle of absolute wedding-day chaos. Honestly, she can run circles around me.

We both thrive under pressure. While most people would crumble when timelines shift, weather changes, or last minute surprises pop up, we come alive. It’s where we do our best work— and I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.

So while my name may be on the page, make no mistake: this business is every bit as much hers as it is mine. She is my right hand, my sounding board, and my biggest teammate. Our sisterhood is one of God’s most beautiful gifts that I will never take for granted!

Yesterday was one of those weddings I’ll never forget.

Almost eleven years ago, Seth stood at the altar for my wedding as an altar server. Yesterday, I had the privilege of helping him begin his forever with Adrian. Some moments really do come full circle.

Seth and Adrian, thank you for trusting us with one of the most important days of your lives. It was truly an honor to walk alongside you throughout this season and help bring your vision to life.

From the very beginning, one thing was clear: this wedding wasn’t about creating a grand production. It was about creating a day that felt unmistakably Seth and Adrian.

The two of you are old souls. You know what you love, and you never wanted anything that felt over the top. Every detail was chosen with intention, creating a celebration that reflected your sweet love story—simple, meaningful, and full of heart.

Behind every beautiful wedding is a village of people who love the couple deeply, and this day was no exception. It was such a joy to collaborate with family and everyone who poured their hearts into making this celebration so special.
