Last year, Yabuki Yuji, 18th Soke of Ono-ha Itto-ryu and Kendo 8 Dan, published a book in Japan introducing swords, licenses, letters, and other artifacts held by the Reigakudo.

From 21 to 23 March, the Reigakudo, headquarters of Ono-ha Itto-ryu in Japan, hosted a training camp for both domestic and international students. The three day seminar was attended by over 100 people and led by Yabuki Yuji, Soke of Ono-ha Itto-ryu, Chokugen-ryu, and Kendo 8 Dan. The last day featured demonstrations by senior members of the Reigakudo and distinguished headmasters of other koryu.

Flanking Yabuki Soke in the photo are members of the Martial Arts Preservation Association of Central PA, who were honored to attend the event. It will take months for everyone to mentally download and process the information put out during this outstanding training.

Yabuki Soke’s next seminar will be in the beautiful and historic city of Ferrara, Italy from May 9-11.
