It’s been a while…

2022 was a shipwreck. It has been a long season of lost at sea. I was given treasure (baby boy, closer to family, time). My cup was empty and now it’s over flowing. God is generous and loving and I am happy to share all the goodness of His redeeming love in new episodes here, on Tasha Pivots.

February 1st. See you there.

Between a beautiful bright sunny afternoon and baby boys long nap I took a moment to sit and jot down heart goals for next year.

This can be found in my personal planner/weeks/daily (still learning planner verbiage) that I keep with me. I started this last year and loved sitting and reflecting as well as being able to draw a line through the ones I completed this year.

If anything, I learned this year, you can plan your heart out and then life will live out it’s plan. Instead take moments to jot down gratitude for the present, receive the reality of your truth, list the goals and take up the space to be still, silent and dream.

J O Y F U L - Year 4, Day 1

We seek JOY this year from within and throughout every moment we continue to take shape into the beings God designed us to live out. What a beautiful honor it is to have the best seat in this journey to see them blossom.

Stumbling on joy filled moments as of late have given me reminders to find gratitude in the heavy hours that past by when I don’t have a plan and or the picture doesn’t quite look like the life I desire or currently exist in.

Yesterday for a few afternoon hours I witness a union, my daughters and husband dance their heart out and a beautiful home, filled with so much romantic character.

Love even in the trenches of grief still thrives, giving us a moment until the next one.

Our Lowly Veil Bookclub spent the first two months of summer enjoying mystery novels, The Last Thing He Told Me and The Guest List.
