Today looked like:

✅ up before the sun
✅ 45 min drive
✅ quickly wished I had worn pants instead of shorts - it was kind of cold!
✅ cold, wet, muddy trek with obstacles, from hurdles to mud pits, rope swings, and swimming in a questionable “pond”
✅ so much fun, slipping and laughing with everyone
✅ glad I did not bail

Sometimes I wonder why I commit to things, and then later I wish I hadn’t committed to it (being honest 🤷🏻‍♀️).

Getting up super early on a Saturday morning (which technically I still overslept!), not feeling as prepared as I would like to be, & feeling grumbly.

💪🏼 Then I reminded myself that adversity and discomfort is good for us. Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone is good for us. Following through with things we said we would do, and then later don’t feel like doing, keeping commitments to ourselves, discipline, discomfort — it’s all good for us:

And it was worth it! It was a really fun time, even if I was physically uncomfortable with so much mud in my shoes & the cold water - - I’m glad I came!

Busy holiday weekend! We had buyers close on their new home, first time home buyers snag a great home to call their own & sellers found a buyer for their home so they can start moving to their next chapter!
