6A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 🏈 🏆

Will the Wolves capture their first ever state title, or will Rigby go back-to-back?

🐺 With 3⭐ QB Jack Brant sidelined, 3⭐ WR & commit Hudson Lewis steps in at quarterback for the second straight week. To keep the offense rolling, Brody Engroff and Lewis will need a solid ground game and some creative plays against a solid Rigby defense.

🐺 Defensively, the Wolves’ front is one of the best in Idaho. 3⭐️ OL and commit Andrew Price has stepped in on defense and become a dominant addition to an already strong D-line that is violent. Nash O’Kelley, an commit, is expected to make a major impact on both sides of the ball.

⚔️ Despite key graduation losses last year, Rigby returns with serious firepower and is back in the state title game. 3⭐ QB and commit Jacob Flowers leads the offense as the Trojans look to repeat as state champs. 2x All-State RB and Co-SEC POTY Amani Morel will be the engine once again, aiming for another dominant performance. Morel currently holds 15 offers.

⚔️ Rigby’s defense is deep and disruptive. DJ Bouderero is everywhere for the Trojans, Korth will look to lock down the air, and Hickman & Balsmeier bring constant backfield pressure. And multiple other guys who are a force multipliers.

Both teams have talented athletes on both sides of the ball.

4A State Championship 🏆 🏈

Bulldogs. Trojans. Who will take the title?

⏰ 1 PM

🐾 Macraye has been electric since returning from injury, leading Kimberly to six straight wins, including four TDs vs. top-seeded Fruitland last week.

🐾 Joe Barrett, the state’s No. 2 receiver in yards, will need a big game against Homedale’s tough defense.

🐾 3 ⭐️ Junior Titus Osterman is a two-way threat and
can expect him to be the anchor for the Defense. Kaden Dillon (6.5 sacks) will look to create chaos in the trenches.

🗡️ Trojans roll in with a balanced attack led by senior backs Javid Blewett and Kade Hall, who have combined for 1,674 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns. Through the air, Xavier Uranga has been dangerous as well, coming in with nearly 2,000 passing yards and 24 touchdowns.

🗡️ On defense, Tyce Fisher anchors the unit as Homedale’s leading tackler and sack leader. Count on seeing Fisher near the ball on every play as he is one of the states top leaders in tackles.

SEMI-FINAL SHOWDOWN 🍿

Keep an eye on senior QB Ben Avella, one of the most accurate passers in Idaho and holding a remarkable 33–2 record as the Knights’ starter. Avella is loaded with talented receivers as well as the backfield and a great offensive line.

For Skyline, Zyan Crockett (last year’s Player of the Year ) remains one of the most electric athletes in the state, piling up 1,500+ total yards and 23 touchdowns.

On defense, both teams are stacked with talent. Bishop Kelly enters with one of Idaho’s top defensive units, tallying 19 interceptions, including 9 from sophomore ballhawk Jared Thiel. In the trenches, Junior Jack Henderson looks to set the edge and cause disruption for the Knights.

Skyline counters with a gritty, high-motor defense led by Gage Searle and Sawyer Davis, both eclipsing 100 tackles on the season. Crockett adds more two-way impact with 4 interceptions, while Taylor Taylor has 5 interceptions.

3⭐️ Quarterback from Fruitland, Titus Vidlak led the entire state in total yards and touchdowns in 11 man. The junior and last year’s Snake River Valley Offensive Player of the Year is making a strong case to go back-to-back with another standout season as he leads the 9-0 Grizzlies ranked number one into the state playoffs.

🏈 6A: Senior Drew Holman wrapped up another monster season leading in tackles, while three gunslingers battled it out in the air: Brayden Dudley (Capital), Jack Brant (Timberline), and Henry Nelson (Mountain View) all neck-and-neck among the state’s top passers.

🐅 5A: Jayson Harper (Mountain Home) claims the state sack title with 15. Van Tassell (Jerome) was nearly unguardable, the only WR to surpass 1,000 yards. On defense, BK’s Jared Thiel owned the skies with 9 interceptions.

🐻 4A: Titus Vidlak and the Grizzlies roll into playoffs full-throttle, with Titus leading Idaho in passing yards. Keenan Maas (Bonners Ferry) takes the state rushing crown.

🐶 3A: The ground game belonged to Kolter Lewis (Ririe) and Justus Burtenshaw (West Jefferson) — two of just three 11-Man backs to break the 1,500-yard mark.

🐅 2A (8 Man): Kendrick stayed dominant all year behind QB Maddox Kirkland, the state’s top 8-Man passer. On defense, teammate Kolt Koepp terrorized QBs with a state-best 21 sacks.

🔵 1A (8 Man): Carey’s standout RB finishes the season as Idaho’s overall rushing leader.
