KNIN suffered a transmitter amplifier failure over the weekend causing the signal to drop below 30%. By 330p yesterday we had the signal restored to about 85%. We are sourcing parts for full repair. In the meantime, we’re back at a power level that should satisfy the whole valley.

Note: if you mistakenly auto scanned during the period where you couldn’t receive KNIN, please do so again now. Rescanning or auto scanning should only be done in specific circumstances, like installing a new TV or instructed by the broadcaster. If you auto scan during an outage or failure, you run the risk of your TV deleting the station from memory and you won’t know when the signal is restored.
