We've got a big show coming up tomorrow morning on Game Plan for Life. Ken Lewis joins Skip Hall again, this time to interview former Boise State defensive end Ahmed Hassanein. He was the first D1 College football player from Egypt, and he is now looking to be the first in the NFL as well, putting up some impressive numbers at the NFL Combine and Boise State's Pro Day. He has a great story, and you won't want to miss it.

HELPING OUR HEROES: You can help support 20 of our local veteran *HEROES* as they go on an HONOR FLIGHT to Washington DC!

Honor Flight was created with a simple, yet powerful, mission 20 years ago – honoring our nation's veterans by bringing them to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built to commemorate their service and sacrifice.

While initially focused only on America's World War II veterans, this now also includes those who served in the military during the Korean and Vietnam War eras, along with veterans of any service era who are critically ill. The Honor Flight Network has flown over 300,000 veterans to Washington, D.C. since it began. How can you help?

There is a fundraising dinner planned for Friday, September 20th at 5:30 p.m. and it will be hosted by VFW Post 63. That's right in Boise near Maple Grove and Overland. Tickets are fifteen dollars each, and you can pay at the door! What a wonderful cause.

Most of the trip is covered for our vets, but the proceeds will help them bring a guardian, a friend, or family member, with them to take care of their needs on the trip.
