👀 Something new is taking shape on the Greenbelt… and we’re giving away two tickets to opening weekend!

is Boise’s new riverside gathering spot coming soon. I had the chance to check out the progress, and it’s going to be a great addition to the area!

Bluebird Social is a multi-use social community space and part-time boutique festival ground, open six days a week — Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 10pm — with social seating, a large mobile stage for concerts and events, rotating food trucks, plus as a permanent fixture! 🍔

The original Boise Trolley Bus has been converted into the Bluebird Bodega, a grab ‘n go store right on the Greenbelt inside Bluebird Social, with sandwiches, scones, snacks, beers, 1/2 bottles of wine, RTDs, Stil ice cream pints, Bluebird kettle corn, even sunscreen!

Planned are live music from local bands and touring acts, theme nights, watch parties for sporting events (like World Cup and local soccer games), and pop-up events in between.

Most events will be free, with a limited number of ticketed shows.

Outlaw Field, one of the area's favorite outdoor concert venues, is back for another summer of shows at the Idaho Botanical Garden 🎶

Here are the shows that have been announced so far for 2026:

A few things worth knowing: it's general admission on the lawn, so bring a blanket or a low-back chair. You can pack your own picnic and a small soft cooler. Parking's free but limited, and it's right off the Greenbelt, making it easy to bike or walk instead.

☀️ NEW GREENBELT RIVER BAR

A new open-air patio bar right on the water opens today (5/22) at 3pm!

You can jog, bike or walk right up to .bar at the complex in Garden city! This new spot feature Summer cocktails, spritzes, live music, and a huge dog-friendly patio!

Need to refuel? Every table will have a QR code soon to order food from the Boardwalk restaurants.

Grand opening runs all weekend, overlapping with the Experience Garden City event this weekend, with live music every day!

is getting a big glow-up this summer with the upcoming and the new Peregrine rooftop overlook bar and event center. Stay tuned for more on those!
