Training with these pups has been an expected challenge while also being an unexpected source of joy, growth, and unconditional love for our family. With the addition of Bingsu, I’m amazed all over again at the lessons in responsibility, routine, behavior, and clear communication that we all learn through the training process. Mochi is about halfway through his service work training, and for the first time since he joined us over a year ago, he alerted me to get out and to safety while I was in the shower last week! I was home alone and shudder to think what would have happened if I’d passed out and hit my head 😖 I’ve paid the price for ignoring the alert in the past, so I got out and did as he said until he was satisfied and let me up. He’s always been so attuned to me, but we’ve worked hard to build out that trust in our relationship. Bingsu brings so much energy and drive, training her has been completely different to Mochi, while still displaying that hallmark poodle intelligence! She’s fierce and intensely focused; harnessing that for scent work and allergen detection is going to be a fun endeavor! Grateful again to Moxi Studios for helping us document their distinct personalities 🥰 These dogs have had me leveling up in every aspect of my life, they are truly special creatures ❤️💙
