another week, another realization that a favorite song of mine has never been played on Po1. take it back to 2020. released "shore" in september which ended up being included in my top ten albums for the year. now when i think of albums that had perfect timing, i think this one might take the cake. a welcome exhale when i felt like life couldn't get any more uncertain. a respite from hospital beeps.
•
this upcoming week on the show, i will finally give "i'm not my season" the play it deserves. this song in particular moved me. helping each other during hardships while also being together for the not-so-tough periods. in the end though, we are more than just the seasons we are in at any given moment.

in 2013 released "psycho tropical berlin" which i regularly refer to as one of the best top-to-bottom-no-skip-worthy albums of all time

accompanying this release, the video for "hypsoline" sends you on a wild ten minute ride, beginning with track "la femme" before rolling into the brief but suspense-building "interlude." needless to say, but i've been obsessed with this video since the moment i saw it over a decade ago
•
i love falling in love with music over and over by seeing how artists choose to visually represent their music. whatever, i may be a sucker for a music video
