You have likely heard in news that public media nationwide will no longer receive funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

PBS is not gone. PBS KIDS is not gone. And Idaho Public Television continues to create local programs like Outdoor Idaho and provide high-quality in-person educational resources to families and schools around the state.

Federal funding for Idaho Public Television—about $2 million, or 25% of the private funds raised by the Friends of Idaho Public Television each year—helped us in foundational ways.
