Caught a thought-provoking tidbit from at the Agency on Fire conference this past weekend: 'There is no nobility in the struggle.' Got me thinking, and here's what I learned.
We all know struggles happen. They're unavoidable. But they're not trophies to be displayed.
I used to wear my struggles like badges of honor, thinking everything had to be learned the hard way, but it only distracted me from making progress.
It turns out that authentic leadership isn't about basking in the struggle. It's about paving a way out of it. It's about learning from others who have been where I want to go.
So, here's a gentle reminder for us all: Instead of glorifying the struggle, let others speak into you and leverage their knowledge to accelerate the growth and the progress we make.
