Resurgence Brewing Company is expanding beyond its south Fort Myers brewery through a new partnership with Suncoast Beverage Sales. The company plans to distribute its b**rs, ciders and vodka seltzers to bars, restaurants and stores across Southwest Florida, with production in Fort Myers expected to grow alongside demand.

After more than 15 years, Brooks Burgers is leaving its original downtown Naples location as the property is slated for redevelopment. The local burger joint plans to reopen nearby at 1200 Central Ave. as Brooks Burgers & Bar, with a goal of opening around Dec. 1.

Atlantic Forge Mediterranean Steakhouse is coming to the former Uncle Julio’s space at Coastland Center mall in Naples. The nearly 11,500-square-foot restaurant will undergo major interior and exterior renovations and is anticipated to open in early 2027.

Collier County commissioners unanimously approved plans for an upscale 18-hole golf course on a 169-acre citrus grove in East Naples after the developer agreed to remove 10 luxury cottages from the proposal and make other concessions. The project, which faced opposition over development, flooding and environmental concerns, now heads to the Florida Department of Commerce for review.
