We're honored to recognize 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘧𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 Man of the Year: Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson arrived from England in 1990 with an MBA and a theory: What if Southwest Florida’s luxury homes were designed as cohesive experiences rather than expensive boxes with design as an afterthought?

His vision became the regional standard. Now, he’s shaping the next chapter at Saltleaf on Estero Bay, where $700 million in The Ritz-Carlton Residences sales signal the expansion of the region’s luxury corridor—10 towers, all waterfront, set within 500 acres, clustered to preserve the sense of place that define the coast. https://bit.ly/4o1CZf2

From the Archives | March 1977

Youth Haven has been a lifeline for children in Southwest Florida since 1972. When Gulfshore Life photographed the campus in 1977, it was already the region’s only shelter for kids facing abuse, neglect or homelessness—a role it still fills today.

Decades later, the mission continues with new leadership, expanded programs and a $20 million campaign to build a modern facility for care and healing.
