Welcome to the homepage of the Bonner Braves Cross Country team.

This page is managed by head coach of the Running Braves, Brooks Ballou.

I'll use this page to communicate anything I might need to get across to the kids, parents, and hopefully the Bonner/Edwardsville community at large regarding information about practices, meets, season highlights, and coaching philosophy. Especially leading up to the season, the goal of this page is to give everyone a chance to get to know me, and likewise for me to get to know everyone before we get the season started.

Hope that everyone is having a great summer. I know from experience that the school season is long and difficult, so to make sure all of the kids have a chance to be a kid and enjoy some time I want to get started Monday July 7th. That will put us 16 weeks out from regionals. In the meantime I hope everyone is doing some easy running on your own. Once we get started on July 7th, we'll get locked in and stick to a pretty tough schedule over the next 4 months, but we'll have a lot of fun while we're working hard.

Bonner Springs High School Cheer attended NCA camp over the weekend. It was an incredible learning experience and they were able to showcase their skills, earning Top Team Chant and a Technical Excellence award in Voice!
