Sunday morning thoughts⦠āļø
I think September might actually be a better time for a reset than January.
For most of our lives, September has meant returning to routine. School starts, long summer nights wind down, schedules change, meals shift, the weather changes. Even when we no longer have kids to get ready for back to school, I think that feeling just sticks with us.
January seems to come with a long list of things we āshouldā be doing differently. September feels more like, letās just get back to the things that make us feel good.
Maybe thatās why Iām feeling it this year.
We had an amazing summer full of travel, lots of family time, and becoming a grandma. š„¹ Now Iām ready for home and a little routine again.
Iām using this week to work on my nutrition, food prep and schedule before starting FUEL on September 7th.
šĀ And weāre heading into fall, my fave! š Of course it is. Iām a cozy, comfy homebody. š
Maybe a reset doesnāt have to mean changing everything. Maybe itās just getting back to a few things that make us feel good and cozy (always cozy).
Does September feel like a fresh start to you too? What is it about this time of year for you? š¤
