Recording over Phone and want a more natural sound?

- We encounter these challenges all the time and that’s why we believe the design of the studio environment is the most critical element of any project. Our recent podcast project uses various techniques such as speaker phone recording versus talking directly on the cell phone, using a tube based pre-amplifier, and adding just the right amount of pre-compression and equalization before it hits the recorder. This approach not only ensures less clipping and superior audio quality throughout its travel path, but also provides efficient editing and mixing that saves time and money, which truly captures an authentic voice.
