In essence, yes the 6.2L has more horsepower and toque but Chevrolet didn’t build that with you towing heavy loads around, they actually less of a Conventional Trailer Weight Rating than the 5.3L. If you need a heavy hauling gas engine, the 6.6L is your best route. ••
