Croton Plant Advice

Hello! I just got this croton plant for free from a neighbor - I’ve not had one before and am looking for some guidance on any pruning or shaping I need to do. Any guidance at all in general is helpful too - it looks healthy and has new leaf growth but some of the older leaves look a little discolored. Thank you!!

Awapuhi plant rehab

I live in zone 9 and finally got an awapuhi plant about two months ago. I’ve done some experimenting with putting in direct sun, partial shade, watering frequency, etc. It’s been doing great until the last two weeks or so, when the leaves started turning brown. I read that it could be due to overwatering it, so I backed off for the week. Today, I look at it after a little rain and found the leaves haven’t improved and some of the cones have these brown sort of mushy spots. I hope I haven’t killed it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

And those are my mom’s plants are next to it. I have nothing to do with those lol.

Snake Plant Queries - first time plant owner
Hi guys! So I just bought my first 2 plants ever, both snake plants, Laurentii and Black Gold. The one in the picture is a Laurentii and I have a few questions..

1. im not sure why the whole plant is leaning towards the right, is it too heavy and I need to repot it asap? it definitely feels heavy as though the pot will almost tilt over. Or is it dying already??
2. any idea what those thorn things shooting out from the leaves are? its the part marked in the red circle.
3. also the 2-3 leaves which are fully drooping below on the right, any solution for that?

all help appreciated!! and im excited to be a part of houseplants club, planning to expand my collection slowly and gradually

Therapeutic new plant stand!
The Winter doldrums are starting to kick in here in cold, snowy Ohio. I thought no better of a time to splurge on a new stand, cute pots and of course new house plant friends. The lighting and greenery made my mood instantly better. We are so blessed with the amount of houseplant choices that are available now.

Rubber plant tips?

Someone in my building put this big plant in our giveaway section and I grabbed it. But I'm not really sure how to take care of it. Shes larger than all the online pictures I've seen of a rubbsr plant. So far google said indirect sun, 60° to 80°F environment and water when dry and maybe prune. Any tips?or suggestions?
