Crockpot corn on the cob is always a hit. I'm 35 years old and have finally found the most delicious way to make it. Making the corn in the crockpot saves me space on the stovetop. It also makes it really juicy and REALLY absorbs the flavors of any seasonings I may use. Save this recipe before you lose it.

After my boyfriend died in a car crash, I (24F) was a complete mess. Then I found out I was pregnant — with TWINS.
The stress caused complications in my pregnancy, and my doctors put me on strict bed rest with constant supervision. There was no way I could live alone.
I had nowhere to go, so I moved into my dad's house. My mom had died years ago, and my dad had remarried Veronica, a younger, glamorous woman. I thought it might work — he could look after me, and I'd have stability for the babies.
For months, things were okay. But I always felt Veronica's eyes on me, like I didn't belong. My dad treated me as best he could, never saying a bad word about her.
Then Dad got sick — fast-moving cancer. We tried to savor our remaining time together, but the clock was cruel.
Unfortunately, he ABRUPTLY passed. Grief hit me like a freight train, and before I could breathe, Veronica revealed her true colors. Within 36 hours, she decided the house was hers. Me? Out. My pregnancy? Irrelevant.
"PACK YOUR THINGS! YOU'LL HAVE 36 HOURS. I DON'T WANT BASTARDS IN MY HOME!" she snapped.
I stared at her, speechless. "I'm due in two weeks! Where do you expect me to go?!"
She shrugged. "Motel? Shelter? NOT MY PROBLEM!"
My legs shook so badly I had to grab the counter. "Dad would never—"
"Dad's not here," she cut me off coldly. "I am."
She smirked, raised a perfectly arched eyebrow, and called the boyfriend she'd been secretly seeing.
"Throw her out!" she ordered. "SHE DOESN'T BELONG HERE!"
She grabbed my arm, trying to shove me out in the pouring rain. But it was TOO LATE. In less than 8 hours, she ended up without a roof over her head. ⬇⬇⬇
