At New York Comic Con, Tom Brevoort revealed that Scott Summers is getting his own solo series — and this time, it’s giving him the same hero treatment Wolverine got back in the day.

After a plane crash, Cyclops is forced to protect a young mutant while being hunted by the Reavers. Expect leadership, tactics, and raw survival as he proves why he’s more than just the X-Men’s field commander — he is the X-Men.

Dropping February 2026, this story aims to redefine Scott’s place in the mutant legacy.
