Introducing Clara, your 2026-2027 MUN@BU Co-Head Delegate! Clara is so excited to be one of the co-head delegates for MUN@BU for the 2026-2027 year! BUIAA has been such an important part of her college experience from being USG of GA for BosMUN (reach for the stars!), the IRR, and staffing BarMUN this coming fall. You’ll also catch her in Beijing this August for WEMUN. Outside of BUIAA, she loves cooking every cuisine and traveling the world. Clara is so excited to see where BUIAA will go this year.

Introducing Cooper, your 2026-2027 MUN@BU Co-Head Delegate! Cooper is an incoming junior for this year at BU where he is a dual degree student in business and international relations. You can find him always talking about a range of topics in business or the British Empire even in IR classes. Originally from the Bay Area in California, Cooper resides in Las Vegas where he is a proud Golden Knights fan especially, but also has an array of other favorite sports teams that he has his reasons for. Outside of classes at BU you will find Cooper either triathlon training, learning to play cricket, wandering around Boston, watching F1 or other sports, travel planning or traveling in general, but he always makes time to spend time with friends within this busy G-Cal. Cooper is so excited to welcome everyone to a great year of BUIAA and especially with MUN@BU!

Introducing Joseph, your Secretary General for BosMUN XXVI! Joseph is a rising senior studying political science and international relations. Joseph grew up in Virginia but has since moved to Massachusetts and laments losing his southern accent. Joseph arrived at BU 2 years ago as a transfer student from the University of Connecticut and quickly found belonging in BUIAA, joining BosMUN, BarMUN and MUN@BU. BosMUN holds a special place in Joseph’s heart as his first ever Model UN conference was BosMUN XX, which is where he found a passion for international relations. He has since served as USG at BosMUN XXV and is honored to be this year’s BosMUN Secretary General. Outside of BUIAA, you can find Joseph playing board games, swimming, or going the wrong way on the green line. Joseph is so excited to be part of this amazing EBoard and to make BosMUN XXVI the best one yet.

Introducing Anushka, your Secretary General for BarMUN XIX! Anushka Majumdar is a senior at Boston University studying Economics and Political Science on the pre-law track. She is originally from Princeton, New Jersey! At BU, Anushka competes on the MUN@BU travel team and serves as Assistant Head Delegate. She is also Director of Development for Phi Gamma Nu, a business fraternity. Outside of BU, Anushka founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity in the Boston and New Jersey areas. This summer, she is doing a fellowship with Innovate@BU to grow this initiative and intern with the Hunger Prevention Program at the YMCA. In her free time, she enjoys watching F1, playing and listening to music, and going on spontaneous side quests around Boston. Anushka is honored to serve as Secretary-General and is excited to celebrate BarMUN’s 19th birthday this year.

Introducing Violet, your 2026-2027 SUN Director! She is a rising senior from Philadelphia studying international relations with a minor in environmental analysis and policy. She has been involved with SUN since 2024 and is excited to be more involved in the other BUIAA branches through her position. Outside of BUIAA on campus, Violet participated in the international relations study abroad program in Geneva, Switzerland, where she studied and interned at a humanitarian NGO and coordinated with UN agencies. In her spare time, Violet loves the gym, nail art, thrifting, skincare, writing, going on trips with her friends, and learning new things. She is excited for the upcoming school year and bringing good energy and success to all BUIAA events!

Introducing Miya, your 2026-2027 IRR Editor in Chief! Miya is a rising junior majoring in Environmental Analysis & Policy and International Relations under the Kilachand Honors College. She’s been involved in BUIAA since her freshman fall and has enjoyed being part of each of BUIAA’s branches. Outside of BUIAA, Miya is also on the e-boards of Delta Phi Epsilon and Epsilon Eta, is an LA for BI 107, and works at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. After graduation, Miya hopes to pursue a career in environmental law. In her free time, Miya loves to crochet and try new foods (she’s always open to Boston-area recs)!

Introducing Sofia, your 2026-2027 BUIAA Marketing Director! Sofia is a rising sophomore majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Public Policy. She is originally from the greatest city on Earth- Orlando, FL. (And before you ask, yes, the weather adjustment was hard.) After rowing competitively for 6 years, BUIAA has been the best part of her new NARP life at BU. Within BUIAA, Sofia is also the Director of Media and Technology for BosMUN XXVI and a member of the MUN@BU Cut Team. Outside of BUIAA, Sofia is probably barricade at a concert or spending too much money on Newbury Street. Sofia is so excited to meet the new members of BUIAA and promises to make it the best year yet!

Introducing Yiannis, your 2026-2027 BUIAA Treasurer! Yiannis is a junior in the Pardee School of Global Studies, concentrating in International Relations with a functional focus on International Systems and World Order and a regional concentration in Europe, alongside a minors in Art History. Originally from Athens, Greece, Yiannis has spent much of his life just down the road in Brookline and has been involved in Model United Nations since high school. Currently, he serves on the BarMUN Secretariat as the Under-Secretary-General for Specialized Bodies. He previously supported the conference as a member of the logistics team, making this his second year contributing to BarMUN. He has also chaired a committee at BosMUN and looks forward to returning to the dais once again this year. Outside of Model UN, Yiannis serves as Chief of Staff to the Vice President in Student Government, and served as an Editor for both the International Relations Review and the Pre-Law Review. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, visiting museums, and going on runs along the Charles River. Yiannis is thrilled for this next year and looks forward to meeting new faces!

Introducing Nicky, your 2026-2027 BUIAA Secretary! Nicky Reich is a sophomore who is double majoring in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Modern Greek Language and Culture. He is incredibly excited to have the opportunity and honor to serve as the Secretary for the 2026-2027 school year. Outside of BUIAA, you can find Nicky writing columns for magazines, hosting dinner parties for friends, or shopping. He spent his summer working on Capitol Hill in Washington and is excited to return to Greece with his family this summer. As your Secretary, Nicky is incredibly committed and excited to make this year the best BUIAA has seen by far!

Introducing Eleez, your 2026-2027 BUIAA Vice President!Eleez Omar is a rising senior double majoring in International Relations and History. Growing up across countries, Eleez has always been passionate about bringing people together! Throughout her time at BU, Eleez has been deeply involved in BUIAA and its many branches, from serving on BosMUN Secretariat and conducting advocacy with Students for the UN to supporting new events and initiatives like BIAS. Beyond BUIAA, she is involved in climate displacement research, editorial work, and environmental policy. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, diving, and practically anything to do with the ocean. Recently, she has committed herself to becoming a better chef. As your Vice President, Eleez is excited to continue building a more connected and accessible BUIAA!
