Shot At Love

Shot At Love Shot@Love is the first motivational dating show of its kind. How to be successful in Love and Life. The book was a best seller for Three Bean Press.

Kerry Brett, a Master Photographer, has owned and operated a successful studio in Hingham, MA, for the past 25 years. It has served as her home base to create award-winning portraits. Kerry has also supported numerous local and international non-profit organizations and causes. In addition to her work at Kerry Brett Lifestyle Portraits, Kerry was the staff photographer for The Improper Bostonian f

rom when it launched until they recently closed their doors. She photographed the magazine's covers and features of some of the region's leading athletes, actors, and influencers, including David Ortiz, Jay Leno, Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Uma Thurman, Chris Cooper, Shaquille O'Neal, Julian Edelman, Steve Carrell, and Conan O'Brien. During her
tenure at the magazine, Kerry also photographed and wrote the "Proper
Bostonians" column for 14 years. Kerry's distinctive portraits have also graced the covers of The Boston Globe Magazine, Boston Common Magazine, and N Magazine. Kerry's portrait series and the cover of Bill Belichick and Linda Holliday for N Magazine, which celebrated the magazine's 15th anniversary of covering Nantucket, went viral, garnering millions of views online. While earning a degree in art from the University of Massachusetts Boston, Kerry interned and worked for The Boston Globe for six years as a contributing photographer. She then opened her first studio and has traveled all over the country to study portraiture. In addition to being a Master Photographer, she is also a Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America. She also lectured for Professional Photographers of America, taught professional photographers, lectured at Hallmark School of Photography, and featured in various professional trade publications such as Rangefinder and Professional Photographer Magazine. In 2011, Kerry teamed up with her father Bill Brett, an award-winning
photojournalist and former Chief Photographer for the Boston Globe, to publish "Boston: Inspirational Women," a book of portraits of women with ties to the city.

Today is World Ovarian Cancer Day. My Mom broke every record 💥 and was in the top 1% of Ovarian cancer survivors. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute called her a walking miracle.
She taught us the power of the mind, and the power of love. She never gave into cancer and she wasn’t having it. Worrying about tomorrow robs you the peace of today. She was a humanitarian and a rebel for the cause—always showing up for others. We invite you to celebrate her life and legacy this Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Resurrection Church in Hingham. Next stop: raising awareness, helping put an end to Ovarian cancer, and supporting Boston’s chapter of Ovations for a Cure. Love, and purpose should always outlive us. 💕

Today we shared my Mom’s obituary. How do you capture a whole life — the love, the sacrifices, the laughter — in just a few paragraphs? I think my sister Meg did a fabulous job describing her.

Our Mom and Grammy was the ❤️ of our family and someone who quietly helped more people than most ever knew. She was a warrior who battled ovarian cancer for six long years with incredible strength. She would want us to celebrate her life — watch her favorite musicals, turn up the volume, and yes, Hugh Jackman would be part of the lineup. 🕺

If you’d like to read about her life, the link is in my bio. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. It means more than you know. 💕
