LGBTQIA MATTERS X STATE OF THE NATION (AFRICA)

Our illiterate Nigerian leaders should know that there should be a remarkable difference between the state and religious teachings.

The law is expected to apprehend criminals not sinners. So if they made the law to apprehend sinners then the National Assembly just as they criminalize LGBTQ, they should equally criminalizes lying, Adultery, fornication, deceit and all the sins as itemized in our religious books (Bible & Quran).

Christianity came from Israel which is in Europe and almost all European countries have accepted same s*x relationship, then why the originators of the religion have differentiated the same religion from the state, yet African countries have merged both together. Whereas the stealing that the so called leaders perpetuate in office they criminalize it softly and even make it a bailable offence, whereas TB affairs that should ordinarily not concern them (as 2 consenting adults can decide what to do with their own bodies), they criminalize to 14 years imprisonment.

Former pension transition committee chairman Abdulrasheed Maina stole billions of naira and he was fined 750,000 in court and he put his hands in his pockets, paid it and left, that's someone that stole the sweat of senior citizens, yet someone that his personal life shouldn't concern the law, the law serves him 14 years breakfast in Prison.
