Recognized for impeccable organization on an iconic course managed by the United States Marines in Arlington, VA, and the nation’s capital, the Marine Corps Marathon is one of the largest marathons in the U.S. and the world. This year is extra special because it marks the 50th running of the largest race in the world without prize money.

Think you have what it takes to roll with the Marines? Registration for the 50th Marine Corps Marathon is sold out, but they want to allow one Six Minute Mile reader to experience “The People’s Marathon”. In next Friday’s issue, we will be giving one SMM reader a bib entry to run the race on October 25th, 2025.
